Stuck at home with a horrible stomach flu? Me too :-(. Water, apparently, can be hard on a troubled tummy, so instead I have been drinking this home remedy, a homemade version of pedialyte.
Per the concoction of my mom, the mother of four kids and caretaker of countless stomach viruses, all you need is:
- 1 cup of water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Pinch of baking soda
- Pinch of salt
Use the ratio above to make as much as you’d like. Mix it all together so the ingredients dissolve in the water, and drink up! It tastes surprisingly yummy and is easy on your belly.
